What
are the Texas Butterflies
made of?
Texas Butterflies
wings are crafted from strong
non-yellowing
plexiglas (acrylic) in two thicknesses:
3/16" for the Large, and
1/8" for the Small.

What
sizes do they come in?
Large
Butterflowers are 21"- 22" in wingspan.
Small
Butterflowers are 12"-14" in wingspan.

How
many styles (butterfly types) are available?
There
are presently three (3) styles offered:

How
many color combinations do they come in?

5.)
What
paints are used? Will they weather well outdoors?
The Texas Butterfly
wings are screen-printed with
non-fading commercial sign paints and
sealed with
ultra-violet curing. The bodies are spray-painted
with an
acrylic enamel
paint that will not chip or fade. All parts
are specially made to withstand all
weather.
When
wings acquire water spots (as will happen
occasionally),
they can be refurbished with a common
non-grit
car polish. (You won't want to use Windex or
other
glass cleaners as these leave a misty haze over the
plastic).

6.)
How
are they packaged?
All Texas Butterflies
are fitted and packed into custom
styrofoam
containers and shrink-wrapped for easy
viewing. They are
conveniently ready for gift-wrapping or
reshipping. (see photos)
